Due to improper installation and venting I need to replace a roof that was installed in 2018. This was not an insurance claim. I called nine different companies for quotes and out of the nine, I selected Kayco Roofing. Josh Cagle came out and performed the initial roof inspection and found the roof needed replaced. One thing that stood out to me with Josh, he did not talk over me, he listened and he validated what I knew was wrong and even pointed out things I didn't see or know. I really enjoyed my conversation with Josh. He was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. We had three roofs that needed replacing, the main house, back garage, and pump house. We updated the shingles to class 3 as we get hail here in Glen St. Mary. The price was very reasonable, not the cheapest nor the most expensive. Their warranty on workmanship and the manufactures warranty exceeded most of the companies. The installation took three days and went off without incident. Our Project Manager was Jonathan Greerdes. Kayco roofing is top notch. I have a 70 year old + home with a unique roof structure - a hipp roof with parapet wall. The flat part of the roof leaked for years despite many attempts and a lot of money to remedy. Kayco was the only roofing company to provide a solid solution- a modified roof that preserved  the design architecture of my home and permanently fixed the problem. Christian was great from beginning to end, even with a small leak that developed while replacement was taking place, he didn’t waste a second with response to clearing it up. Excellent service. I called and Christian was there to give me an estimate which was very reasonable. My repair date came and the roof was fixed within the morning. I highly recommend Kayco Roofing! This company and staff displays and practices high integrity. I have some water spots on my ceiling and noticed flashing of an offset roof vent raised up a little and thought that’s where water was coming in. Josh came out and inspected it and ruled out the vent flashing being the cause. He checked the roof and couldn’t find any issues. He decided to go into the HOT attic to check it. He found a couple of issues that may be contributing to the AC ductwork sweating and possibly causing the water spots on the ceiling. To me his efforts were above and beyond! It turns out a few months back Josh had inspected and made minor repairs to my son’s roof. Josh advised my son he may only have a couple of years of roof life left before needing replacement. Josh never pressured my son to file any insurance claims or to do anything now, which other roof inspectors have. Great company! Update: After my AC company inspected ductwork and found no condensation issue, Josh and Kevin came back out inspected the entire roof and found a bigger issue. My ten year old roof’s condition was that of a twenty plus year old roof. I filled a warranty claim with the original shingle manufacturer (NOT RELATED IN ANY WAY WITH KAYCO), which they settled. I had Kayco replace the entire roof. The process was seamless, the workers cleaned up every evening, and performed a thorough cleanup after the job was done. Everyone was approachable and Josh was responsive to any questions or concerns I had during the process.  The best part, no deposit or upfront $ and  payment was due upon completion of the job. Josh came out from Kayco roofing today. He is extremely knowledgeable. He inspected my roof and gave me an estimate. He told me in all honesty, my roof still had 2 or 3 years left of life. And he really did not see any issues with it.  I was not expecting that. But the honesty is very refreshing. Most companies just want the money. So because of this I highly recommend this company to fix or replace your roof. I believe in keeping the good companies busy. This is a good company. And i really do believe they would do a good job for you at a fair price. When I ran for public office, I preached about companies being accountable and honest. We received 3 quotes for our Community Park Pavilion roof and Kayco gave the most detailed and competitive quote. We explained that the quote was a part of the Matching Grant proposal with the city of Jacksonville which mean the job wouldn't start until almost a year later. Christian stayed in contact with me and I updated him when we were granted the contract and despite it being almost a year after the original quote, they completed the job, cleaned up the site and removed the dumpster as quoted and in the time in which they said they would. I recently had a roof replacement done by Kayco Roofing due to storm damage. I called to get a tarp installed over the hole and Josh came out on the same day and took care of everything. Long story short, my insurance approved a full replacement and I already knew I was going with Kayco. From the customer service I had from both the woman I spoke to on my first call and Josh made it pretty easy to tell my roof was in good hands. The roof was installed last week and looks amazing!
